Our interest in solar energy includes Synthesis Power Solutions, a company specializing in custom-engineered solar and battery storage solutions. Serving commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients, Synthesis provides unique, optimized clean energy systems tailored to each customer’s specific needs.

Energy Fields
EnergyFields is Dimsum Energy’s flagship development: a 2,300 MW cluster of seven renewable-energy-rich farms in the Blue Crane Route Municipality of the Eastern Cape, comprising four wind projects, two solar projects, and 500 MW of 4-hour battery storage. All major permits are secured, and Cost Estimate Letters have been issued by the National Transmission Company of South Africa.

Wireframe Group
Dimsum Energy Launches Wireframe Group to Tackle South Africa’s $21 Billion Transmission Challenge Cape Town, South Africa – 30 May 2025 (I think we need to hold back on this for a while and publish it later in the year after we have done some more actual work - Tommy) In response to South Africa’s growing electricity evacuation bottleneck, Dimsum Energy has announced the formation of The Wireframe Group - a new platform that will complement the company’s generation development pipeline, enabling a vertically aligned, solution-oriented model that directly addresses South Africa’s energy bottlenecks.

With the Gen-E Foundation, our mission is to discover and develop generations of promising young people, living under the shadow of our renewable energy projects, and to invest in their potential through professional sport, education and skills development to achieve their most positive outcome.

Harrier Institute
We have further committed ourselves to building a tertiary sports institute in George called the Harrier Institute - not only to further the professional rugby careers of these talented local players, but also to develop their aptitudes and skills to achieve lives of economic security beyond sport.
